No running, racing, tag, hockey, or general horseplay during club sessions.
No carrying children on ice
No eating drinking on the ice.
No climbing on or over side barriers.
No swearing or profane language in the Recreation Center.
No foreign objects on the ice (i.e. chairs, hockey sticks, pucks, etc.
No groups of three (3) or more skaters holding hands or forming chains unless under direct supervision of a club professional.
Only authorized officials allowed on the ice without skates.
Jumps are to be practiced at the ends and outer edges of the rink and spins are to be practiced in the middle area of the ice surface.
Everyone, including Professionals, must leave the ice by the end of ice time.
A Board Member can remove people from the ice who do not follow the rules.
Skaters taking lessons should always be given the right of way. Try to stay out of the way of the Pro and his or her student. Also, if you need to talk with a Pro, please do so before or after his/her instruction times.
Skating Priority: The Skater wearing the yellow vest is given 1st priority. The yellow vests are used when a skater is in a lesson or practicing and is skating to music. As soon as the skater’s music finishes the skater is to remove the yellow vest and put it over by the music box. 2nd priority is given to Skaters taking lessons. Please try to stay out of the way of the Pro and his or her student. Also, if you need to talk with a Pro, please do so before or after his/her instruction times.
