From I-90: I-90 to I-690 exit 39. Southeast on I-690 to Rt-695 exit (Auburn/Lakeland). Follow Rt-695 to Rt-173/Warner's Rd exit. Stay to the right and follow signs for Auburn and Camillus. Take a right onto Warner's Rd. and go to the 2nd traffic light. Take a right onto Rt-5/W. Genesee St. then turn Left at the third traffic light onto Whedon Rd. then first Right onto Slawson Rd. The entrance to Shove Park Recreation Center is your 1st left off of Slawson Dr.

From I-690: I-690 to Rt-695 exit (Auburn/Lakeland). Follow Rt-695 to Rt-173/Warner's Rd exit. Stay to the right and follow signs for Auburn and Camillus. Take a right onto Warner's Rd. and go to the 2nd traffic light. Take a right onto Rt-5/W. Genesee St. and go through the 1st traffic light to Whedon Rd. (next left). Left on Whedon Rd. to Slawson Rd. Right onto Slawson Rd. The entrance to Shove Park Recreation Center is your 1st left off of Slawson Dr.

Walk-on fee:
The walk-on fee is $20.00. Please pay any Board member.

Emergency Closing/Severe Weather Policy:
In the event that a severe storm or other emergency occurs, the Town of Camillus will update the Leisure Line (487-2170) that Group Lessons have been canceled and the news stations will be notified. When Group Lessons are canceled we will have Open Skate for anyone able to get to the rink.

The coaches may continue with their private lessons. Coaches will be responsible for notifying their students with their decision.

• 1. Arrive 20-30 minutes in advance of your scheduled class time.
• 2. Check in at the Group Lesson table.
• 3. Locate the sign with your instructor's name and level on it.
• 4. Put on your skates, mittens, etc...
• 5. Please stay at the sign so your instructor can find you easily five minutes before lessons start.

(After the first week, please proceed to the same spot on the ice at 6:15pm where your coach will take attendance. )

We strongly recommend a bicycle helmet for younger/beginner skaters. Gloves and hats are recommended to help keep children warm. We recommend warm-up suits, sweaters, sweatshirts, sweatpants or figure skating wear. Denim jeans are discouraged as they restrict range of motion. Double runner blades are not permitted.

• 1. No running, racing, tag, hockey, or general horseplay during club sessions.
• 2. No carrying children on ice
• 3. No eating, drinking, or smoking on the ice.
• 4. No climbing on or over side barriers.
• 5. Upon completion of USFSA Basic Level 4, figure skates are to be worn during Club sessions.
• 6. No swearing or profane language in the Recreation Center.
• 7. No foreign objects on the ice (i.e. chairs, hockey sticks, pucks, etc.
• 8. No groups of three (3) or more skaters holding hands or forming chains unless under direct supervision of a club professional.
• 9. Only authorized officials allowed on the ice without skates.
• 10. No freestyle during dance sessions.
• 11. Jumps are to be practiced at the ends and outer edges of the rink and spins are to be practiced in the middle area of the ice surface.
• 12. Everyone, including Professionals, must leave the ice by the end of ice time.
• 13. A Board Member can remove people from the ice who do not followe the rules.
• 14. Skaters taking lessions should always be given the right of way. Try to stay out of the way of the Pro and his or her student. Also, if you need to talk with a Pro, please do so before or after his/her instruction times.
